Club Information

Important Information

With the new field there are a few things to be aware of:

  1. There is a gun club nearby
  2. Access to the flying area
  3. Field layout

The Gun Club

With the gun club nearby safety is paramount. There are regular shoots every Sunday morning,
10:00 -13:00, and every Thursday evening, 17:00 - 21:00, during the season (which presumably
means when it's light). There are also occasional shoots on Saturdays.

The gun club will put up red flags and draw a barrier across the access track to show when they are shooting.

DURING THESE TIMES, FLYING AND ACCESS TO THE FLYING AREA IS FORBIDDEN.

Contravention of these restrictions may result in your membership being suspended or terminated.
Access to the Flying Field

The gate to the field must be kept closed but there is no need to lock it whilst you are flying,
however make sure you do not leave the padlock with the combination set.

Field Layout

Parking is between the first two trees in the hedge line, and then we have the pits area, followed by
the club house.

The peg order is:

Peg 1. Beginners have priority - hovering only

Peg 2. Any flying style

Peg 3. Any flying style

Peg 4. Any flying style

Peg 5. Any flying style

Peg 6. Any flying style
