Selecting an Engine

All the above models are designed for internal combustion engines, electric powered models are available, but flying time is far to short for learners and investment in battery packs is expensive. They are however getting better all the time.
As mentioned above, the engine sizes come in 4 main sizes 30,50,60,90. Some models can accept a range of engines such as a 30-50, 60-90, but most are developed for one size.
The list below gives the name and size of engines that have been found to be reliable and effective.
